Our Oysters
We’re a small, independent oyster farm growing premium oysters in Maine’s Damariscotta River. At Carlisle Island Seafood, we keep things simple and do them right—focusing on quality over quantity. Over the last few years, we’ve been quietly focusing on what we do best: farming fresh oysters. Now, we’ve opened a location to serve them directly to you at our waterfront oyster bar in South Bristol, Maine.
Visit Us on the Wharf
Pull up a chair on the wharf at Gamage Shipyard and enjoy our oysters just a few miles from where they’re grown. We harvest fresh every Friday morning, so you’re getting oysters at their best all weekend long. At our casual, family-run oyster bar, you can shuck your own or grab a dozen to go. Settle in on the deck with a view of the water, or just stop by to say hello. Not into oysters? We’ve got you covered with soft drinks, and snacks with a view.
Open May through October, Friday to Sunday, 11–4.
